Counseling Services beyond the School Counselors
Mental health needs are on the rise across the nation. Growing and supporting mental health awareness is imperative in order for us to continue to meet the social and emotional needs of our students. We have recognized this need and have been partnering with CWM Counseling for the last few years. This partnership has allowed students to seek mental health services from a licensed therapist at their school. Carrie Hardy, APSW will continue to provide counseling services on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at Cuba City Elementary, Middle, and High School.
How does this work? Rather than students leaving school for a couple of hours for an appointment, they are able to see the therapist at school for their appointment. Carrie is able to bill individual insurance (just as would happen if you saw her at her office) for the services provided.
How do you get started? There is a referral process to begin counseling services. Contact your child’s school counselor to obtain required paperwork to complete. Once the paperwork is completed, it will be submitted to Carrie and she will contact parents to schedule the initial appointment.
What insurances are accepted? Carrie is able to bill the following insurances:
- Alliance
- BCBS Anthem
- Dean Commercial & ASO
- Dean Medicaid
- iCare
- Medicaid/Badgercare
- MHS Cenpatico
- Quartz Medicaid
- WEA Trust
- UHC Medicaid
- GHC Medicaid
- Quartz commercial
