Black and Gold Club

The Cuba City School District (CCSD) Booster Club is excited to announce the launch of the Inaugural Black and Gold  Club. The purpose of this club is to create a “family” of passionate Cuban fans that share in the Booster Clubs mission to help raise money to provide equipment and improve facilities outside of what the standard school budget can allow. 

The booster club has worked tirelessly for the last few years and raised/spent over $300,000 to help our student athletes and coaches. We have touched every sport in our district. A few of our projects included:

• Baseball: Over $80,000 on improvements to our baseball field.
• Track: Over $65,000 for an improved shotput and discuss area and new hurdles
• Facilities: Over $10,000 for improvements to our concession stand and press box.
• High School Football: Communication headsets for football.
• 7th and 8th grade Football: Over $14,000 startup costs for our new 7th and 8th grade football program.
• Wrestling: Portable scoreboard for wrestling program.
• Softball: Over $4,000 for training and coaching supplies for softball program.
• Volleyball: Apple I-pad for volleyball program.
• Basketball: Dr. Dish shooting machine for basketball program.
• Streaming: Equipment allowing free stream viewing of home events in the gym and football field.
• All Sports: I-pads for each coach allowing easy connection to Huddle.
• Scholarship: $10,000 scholarship trust fund guaranteeing a yearly scholarship for life. 

This is just a small list of things we have recently funded. The booster club is a 501C3 non-profit organization so any donations we receive are tax deductible.

The booster club’s primary funding is by working every concession stand for varsity home games throughout the year and other fund-raising events. The Black and Gold club is intended to be an extension to our fund-raising efforts.

We are asking for your tax-deductible donation on a yearly basis, but our initial ask, as part of the kick-off to this club, we are asking for a 2-year commitment. We will accept any donation however notable levels of contribution can include:

• Black: $250 (per year): Name will be included as a member of the club in various sports programs and a bi-yearly newsletter.
• Gold: $500 (per year): Benefits of black membership and name included on our new 86” television in school hallway.
• Cuban: $1,000 (per year): Benefits of gold membership and name announced on a rotating basis as a “Black and Gold Club member of the game”
• All-Star: $2,500 (per year): Benefits of Cuban, picture on 86” television on rotating basis and mentions throughout the year on social media, two season long athletic passes.
• MVP: $5000+ (per year). Benefits of All-Star along with 4 total season long athletic passes, foursome of golf at our yearly golf outing and picture in Tri-County Press.
